CSC's major scholarship programs include: Visiting Scholar and Senior Research Scholar Program Postgraduate Study Abroad Program Exchange Programs with Other Countries Visiting Scholar Program for Young Backbone Teachers Western China Talents Training Program and Provincial Cooperative Program International Exchange Program for Outstanding Undergraduates Program on International and Regional Research and Training for Senior Language Talents
Review of the Postgraduate Program (by 2010): More than 66% sent to top 200 universities all over the world (According to the Times Higher Education World University Rankings and the Shanghai Ranking); More than 400 MOU singed between Chinese and international universities;
More than 19,000 academic papers were published: ---5,154 were published on journals covered by SCI, EI or ISTP; ---more than 40 were published on the world's most cited journals like Nature and Science. • Over 73% returned students were employed by higher education and scientific research institutions.
The 2012-2016 Postgraduate Progrm • 6,000 per year; • 2,500 for full PhD students; • Innovation to the Selection Process: --open to qualified students and faculty members from all higher education institutions in China and candidates from all works of life; --Self-sponsored Chinese students studying abroad were included.
Part Two: CSC'S Experiences and Best Practices in Supporting International Graduate Education (Case Studies)
The Sino-France Program Caiyuanpei: --for research fellow and doctoral students; --Supporting no more than 20 research programs per year; --For each program, no more than 4 persons from one country will be awarded the scholarship
The Peking Univerisity / Georgia Tech Biological Engineering Joint PhD Program --Students officially register at both universities; --Two supervisors for one student, one from Peking University and the other from Georgia Tech; --Two years atPeking University and two years at Georgia Tech; --One degree, two stamps
Tsinghua University and the University of Pittsburgh Joint MD Program • Tsinghua University-RWTH Aachen Double Masters Program

To establish innovative graduate education cooperationplatforms for joint scientific research and student training; • To explore the Production-Learning-Research Cooperation Model for graduate education;
To facilitate and promote teacher training and the internationalization of graduate education for western China. • To promote students' two-way mobility between China and Canada.
