Transition Update • Web Page • www.nc-pcs.com available for use with basic information. • Additional phases with more in-depth information coming soon. • Customer Support Center • Hours of Operation: 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. • Some Changes Coming to Menus and Recordings • Independent Assessors • Extensive three day training completed 9/20/13 • Staff Utilizing Tablets to Record Assessments • First 30 Days 100% Review of Completed Assessments by Regional Managers

  4. Transition Update • Mediations and Appeals • Public Contracting Group (PCG) data indicates high numbers of Appeals are outstanding in varying stages of completion • DMA will convene a work group to analyze the work flows and design improved efficiency and tracking processes

  5. Provider Focus Group • Meetings every other Wednesday • Focus has been on Transition • Re-evaluating Group’s Function Going Forward • Agendas and Minutes Available from Focus Group Members or upon Request

  6. Assessments Conducted Since October 1 • 1,765 Requests Processed • 3,469 Assessments Scheduled • 2,908 Assessments Uploaded to QiRePort

  7. Mediations and Appeals • 609 Results of Mediation Entered (Resulting from Adverse Determinations prior to 10/1/13) • Approximately 8,000 Appeals on PCG List: About half of those stayed by the Court; others under investigation as to true status

  8. Future Reporting • Liberty Healthcare and VieBridge are developing report templates • What kinds of data and reports would be most helpful for providers to see each month?
