If you use a classroom textbook, please return it to the shelf at the end of the period.  Set up page 43 in your notebook for “Class-work”.

Beginning of Class REVIEW ~ 2 min • What are the 4 primary regions where most of the world’s populations live? • East Asia; South Asia; Southeast Asia; Europe • What is the primary reason why people live where they do? • Access to resources – • Area to farm • Access to transportation systems to bring in food • What is this type of map called? • Cartogram • Where do you expect most of the people to live in the Western Hemisphere and in Africa? • Northeast United States and Southeast Canada; In Africa on the Southern coast facing the Atlantic Ocean
