  6. Folk Dances • Imitate animals

  7. Peacock Dance • Peacock – happiness, good luck • Performed by amateurs • Based on folk and fairy tales • 1-3 people • Movements • Flying from nest • Watching • Strolling

  8. Finger movements • Peacock hand • Tuck thumb, fan fingers • Eye hand • Fan fingers, index and thumb together

  9. Lion Dance • Mimic lions • Lion costumes • 1 or 2 people per costume • Gongs, drums, firecrackers = good luck!
