What is an Outside Business Activity? • Any business activity outside of Primerica • Compensated or non compensated • OBAs must be promptly reported to Primerica For Internal Use Only

Conflicts of Interest • Conflict arises when an activity sets the interests of the Representative and the client at odds. • There are serious consequences for violation of rules. • Even the appearance of conflict can cause damage. For Internal Use Only
Owning rental properties Volunteer activity of any kind (e.g. involvement in baseball, soccer, hockey little league, yoga class instructor, scouts leader, etc.) Non-remunerated/unpaid activity for not-for-profit entity (including charities, Churches), such as acting as Treasurer, Administrator, Fundraiser, etc. Involvement in Holding Companies Company incorporated for the purposes of facilitating your Primerica business Examples of Reportable OBAs For Internal Use Only
Any kind of outside employment or commercial activity Includes self employed in any field Family owned business Office Manager in a Primerica office LLQP instructor Examples of Reportable OBAs For Internal Use Only
Any change to an existing employment must be reported Change of location Change in hours worked Change of duties or job description Etc. Reportable OBAs
Member or Usher of Church Passive investor Rental income activity limited to leasing an office space in your name and collecting rent from other RVPs/BMs who are clustering with you OBAs which are Not Reportable For Internal Use Only
How to Report an OBA • For Canadian Mutual Fund Licensed Reps • Notice of Change – Material Circumstances (Form PFSL-35) • Found on POL > Compliance > Forms > PFSL For Internal Use Only
Supervising Downlines with OBAs • Primerica’s business model allows Representatives to have other employment • Unauthorized activities are potential for compliance violations For Internal Use Only
RVPs & Branch Managers • Proper & Timely reporting of OBAs • Scrutinize and monitor OBAs • People with OBAs must stay plugged-in • Watch for income level drops For Internal Use Only
Consequences for non-disclosure • Disciplinary measures from Primerica • Disciplinary measures from regulators, which can include fines and suspension/revocation of license • Civil Damages For Internal Use Only
