Some ideas on the table from the prior meetings • Kauai wild boar sausages – need is growing Mobile slaughter houses • Kneeleys – patent process • “Giving youth a fighting chance” – viral in nature • What if/when … happens to me. • Tsunami Debris / Pacific Gyre .. “The harvest” opportunity • Call centers (virtual) on the Island – Hawaiian Airlines • Car rental business – up and running • Vehtis, on demand car rental using local cars either stored or rented from the owners. • Medical tourism – even climate; even pressure – long and short term relief . • A smart phone alert app for close proximity to ankle bracelets – we are working the legal issues involved. • Kauai Virtual Incubator– I think it will start small; small grants of money. 7. New Projects, we have underway • Kauai Virtual Incubator – bringing together of local money and local ideas. Replicable model. Plenty of competition, but no one doing a bottom-up loan model. • Kauai Chickens – liability or asset. Well fed, healthy and wild, might be an export to the Pac Rim to improve their chicken “stock”? • Libraries – entrepreneurial ideas on how to increase outside income (Book store) • Flippinresponsibles – bio degradable slippers (flip-flops). We have the molds – unfortunately they are in China. • 1,000 Yoga mats for the blind – designed ‘surfaces ‘for the physically handicapped – Owner needs help selling them. • Alternative currencies – listened to a presenter and get his book called “rethinking money” – local level to solve absenteeism/truancy perhaps • ‘Sharps’ shredder for hospitals Confidential to the members

8. Concluding remarks • Always think out of the box • If we “have always done it this way” it is probably time to change. • Feel free to email me – lost a little less money than I have made. • ..
