2. 2 Samuel 12:9-10 • 9 Wherefore hast thou despised the commandment of the LORD, to do evil in his sight? thou hast killed Uriah the Hittite with the sword, and hast taken his wife to be thy wife, and hast slain him with the sword of the children of Ammon. • 10 Now therefore the sword shall never depart from thine house; because thou hast despised me, and hast taken the wife of Uriah the Hittite to be thy wife.

What therefore God hath joined together, let not man put asunder.” • Shedding of Innocent Blood - Genesis 9:5-6 • “5 And surely your blood of your lives will I require; at the hand of every beast will I require it, and at the hand of man; at the hand of every man's brother will I require the life of man. 6 Whoso sheddeth man's blood, by man shall his blood be shed: for in the image of God made he man.” • Moral Purity - 1 Corinthians 6:9-10 • “9 Know ye not that the unrighteous shall not inherit the kingdom of God? Why! Men Despise Baptism, A Command of God!
