  3. Description • What can you learn from the title of the artwork? 2. What subjects in the artwork can you recognize? • Looking at the elements of design, describe what qualities you see: -line: the lines in this artwork is wavy. -shape: the shapes are wavy in this work. -color: purple,red,green -value: the value in this artwork Is regular. -form: the form of this artwork is regular. -texture: the texture in this piece of work is smooth.- -space: there is not really spacing in this artwork. 4. What media and techniques did the artist use? She used color pencils.

  4. Analysis • Emphasis: what is see first is the big letters. • Balance: this artwork makes me hungry. • Proportion: they look normal • Pattern: they are not repeated • Rhythm or Movement: I see waves • Unity and variety: the lines and the two colors bond

  5. Interpretation • Is there symbolism in the artwork? What do you think it means? No theirs no symbolism • What feeling do you think the artist wanted to give the viewer when looking at the work? That skittles are good • Does the work remind you of other things you have experienced? I really don’t like skittles 4. How does the work relate to other ideas or events in the world and/or in your other classes? They sell skittles in the store

Why do you feel this work is or isn’t unique? • This work is very unique • What are some improvements you feel the artist could have made to the work? • some improvements are that she needs to make it more neater.
