  1. Agreeing to Disagree The Rhetoric of Disagreements

  2. When disagreeing with someone, be sure to criticize THE IDEA and not THE PERSON or DELEGATION. Bad example: Estonia believes that Malaysia has a bad idea. Good example: Estonia believes that Malaysia’s idea of a outsourcing could be improved.

  3. Also, be TACTFUL and POLITE when criticizing their idea. You should give a reason WHY you disagree with their idea. Malaysia’s idea is dumb and doesn’t make sense. Malaysia’s idea doesn’t make sense to me because it will only benefit their countries and not anyone else.

  4. Criticizing without POSITIVE ALTERNATIVES is just complaining and accomplishes little. Be sure to end your criticism with a POSITIVE suggestion. Malaysia’s idea doesn’t make sense because it will only benefit their country and not anyone else. We believe that outsourcing should occur in as many country’s as possible so we can all benefit.

  5. Your TONE OF VOICE is also very important. There is no such thing as a WRONG opinion, just different ones. We must remember to always be RESPECTFUL of each other’s different points of view.

  6. McDonalds or Burger King???
