Project objectives “Mobile Digital City and Nature Walks – the development of content and software for a mobile tourism device” aims to provide the visitor with extra utility value and the tourist industry with value and sustainable growth is particularly concerned with sustainability in Danish peripheral areas acknowledge that innovation in tourism by means of mobile communication technology has direct implications for one-to-one marketing, E- and M-business

A possible user scenario to visualize content (I/III) - Before Before German Family Mann leaves Berlin to vacation in Denmark, they have found a link to MDBN online An active avatar entises father & son: ”Come closer, follow me to the hidden adventures and medieval legends of noble knights and brave vikings in Denmark” The Manns generate personal profile indicating range of interests, ages, preferences (e.g. Medieval Age, Vikings, Gastronomy, ornithology, local gastronomy). And accept services to create an electronic ”M-wallet”, access on mobile phone to site-specific information, occassioned maps, booking opportunities, products & services that are carefully monitored to ensure quality and sustainability of the destination.
