Location It’s placed in Marinella, near Bibione and Lignano Located into Veneto Region, gives a nice example of our common plane countryside  It’s present few hundred meters far Tagliamento river, which was used to water nearest fields and already today Farm description: • Open all year, but because of its proximity to summer places it works only during June, July and August • Composed by11 flats, with possibility of breakfast • restaurant not already open

  4. History La casa gioconda farm holiday is a branch of Toniatti-Giacometti horse-farm born in 1923 • Not a long history, la casa gioconda farm holidays it’s officially open by the spring of 2010 • It’s a house of XV century used in the past for hunting and now restored for tourism

Services provided are traditional of a common farm holidays as for example pool, wellness center, etc • Butthere are some othernewones: • possibilitytorent a bike and to take advantageof a cycle lane nearTafliamentoriver • rent a small boat and go around on Tagliamento river • rent a horse • Renewable sources • Photovoltaic energy for pool pumps • solar panels for farm heating

  6. Competition with other farms? There is no competition with other farms, only because there aren’t nearest farms to create a real competition What about actual crisis? • Not enough data to say something due to the short activity period • farm owners aspect a postive summer after last first year experience

  7. Challenges for the future • Open restaurant and use local products (wine from farm vineyards; cheese from near villages, etc.) which have a lower environmental impact • Imrprove electric power, not only for pool and other kind of renewables • trying to be at “zero emissions” • more “green services” 1.In order to have a lower environmental footprint 2.be more innotvative in order to improve our energy efficency BE MORE “GREEN”!!!
