Morehead City Harbor FY08 Work Inner Harbor Estimated Quantity: 400,000 CY Depth: 35’+2’ and 45’+2’ Bucket and barge to ODMDS Distance: approximately 7 miles Ocean Bar Estimated Quantity: 800,000 CY Depth: 45’+2’ Hopper to near shore for suitable Hopper to ODMDS for unsuitable Environmental window: : 1/1 – 3/31 Solicitation date: 10/26/2007 Approximate start date: 1/23/2008

Morehead City HarborDredge Material Management Plan • Will look at disposal needs and alternatives for MHC Harbor over the next 20 years • Will factor environmental considerations into decision process • Disposal plan will be chosen based on federal standard of least cost alternative, consistent with sound engineering practices, and environmentally sustainable • Will look at placing material on Brandt Island, offshore, nearshore, and on the beaches • Final report expected in late 2009

Atlantic Intracoastal Waterway (AIWW) FY08 Work Maintenance Dredging at Five Different Sites Total Estimated Quantity: 550,000 CY Disposal Locations: Beach / Upland • Norfolk to Alligator River – FY08 and FY09 DMMP and EIS for Disposal Areas (North Landing River and Currituck Sound) • Alligator River to Pamlico River – FY07 Maintenance Dredging of Alligator-Pungo Landcut; and FY08 / FY09 DMMP and EIS for Disposal Areas (Alligator River) • Neuse River to Beaufort – FY07- Core Creek Landcut Maintenance Dredging. • Beaufort to Cape Fear– FY07- Topsail Inlet Crossing Maintenance Dredging. FY08- Maintenance Dredging of 1 to 3 shoaled areas. • Cape Fear to Little River– FY08/FY09 – No Funding • Norfolk, VA to Jacksonville, FL – Kick Off Meeting for Regional DMMP (Week of October 15th). Work to be completed with FY08 funds.

Manteo (Shallowbag) Bay, NC FY08 Work Interior Channels Contract Estimated Quantity: 700,000 CY Depth: 12’ + 2’ Type of Equipment: Pipeline Disposal Area: Bird Islands / Upland Solicitation Date: 10/18/2007 Approximate Start Date: 12/20/2007 FY 08 Ocean Bar / Spit Contract(s) Estimated Quantity: Ocean Bar: 560,000 CY Navigation Spit: 200,000 CY Depth: 14’ + 3’ Type of Equipment: Hopper or Pipeline Disposal Area: Nearshore or Beach Approximate Start Date: June/July 2008

  6. PROJECT: Far Creek (Option Item in FY08 Manteo Interior Channel Contract) Type Work: Maintenance Depth: 10’ + 2’ Width: 80-100 ft Quantity: 250,000 cy @ 12 ft. Type of Material: Silt & Sand Disposal Area: Upland Type of Equipment: Pipeline Last Dredged: 1999 Environmental Window: Oct 1 – March 31 (Shrimp, Fisheries) **Far Creek is located approximately 30 miles from the Manteo (Shallowbag) Bay Project.

Manteo (Shallowbag) Bay, NC Dredge Material Management Plan • Will look at disposal needs and alternatives for Manteo (Shallowbag) Bay over the next 20 years for the entire Project (Interior Channels, Spit Channel, and Ocean Bar Channel). • Will factor environmental considerations into decision process • Disposal plan will be chosen based on federal standard of least cost alternative, consistent with sound engineering practices, and environmentally sustainable • Will look at current disposal options and future needs, while coordinating this process with both resource agencies and local stakeholders. • Final report expected in late 2009
