Storytelling 101 Lesson 6-Evaluation & Registration Begin
Evaluation Each year, several organizations join their efforts to host a storytelling festival for children in Hillsborough County. To be a part of this festival, it is necessary that participants go through an evaluation of their storytelling skills prior to participating. The evaluation is designed to help participants get feedback and suggestions on the areas of storytelling that they are doing very well and to give them some suggestions on the areas of storytelling that need to be worked on. The evaluation can be done by a teacher at a school, a public librarian or school media specialist. To view the evaluation form, click here.
Registration Once a participant has gone through the evaluation process, it is important that he or she register for the Storytelling Festival. Only the individual who wants to tell the story at the Festival needs to register. All others can simply attend and enjoy. The Storytelling Festival has all kinds of fun activities for the entire family! You’ll find puppet shows, stories, crafts, prize drawing, photo opportunities, multicultural tent, book fair, a storybook character parade and more. Make sure to return your registration form to Mrs. Herdman by February 21, 2014.
