  3. SENCO Networks • 1st October: Introduction to the Accountability Framework. Supporting self evaluation. • 4th November: Case Studies from Pilot Inspections, data analysis and focus groups • 16th December: Feedback from Pilot Inspections. Inspection Handbook.

  8. Readiness for SEND Inspection 2015-16 Chronology of Events

  9. SEND Inspection by Ofsted and Care Quality Commission (CQC) • Pilot Inspections Spring Term Calderdale. 2nd round of pilot inspections Oct/Nov. • SEND Inspections will start from May 2016. Bradford is highly likely to be an early adopter. Ofsted and Care Quality commission. Inspection team include a specialist SEND HMI, a Children’s services inspector from (CQC) and a LA inspector. • New framework for inspecting the effectiveness of local areas SEND. • Draft Handbook for SEND Inspections expected by the end of the year.

Pupils with an EHCP and at School Support?
