Abstract • Recognizable forms that have been changed from realty
Negative Space • The empty spaces inside and around an object or shape
Collage: a design created by attaching mostly flat elements (newspaper, wallpaper, text, photos etc) to a surface.
Contrast: • a principle of art; strong differences within an artwork to create interest • Examples: opposite colors, geometric vs. organic shapes, big or small etc
