  7. Statewide AYP Results2007-08 • 2,400+ Schools, 115 LEAs • Approximately 31% of Schools Made AYP • 547 Schools in Title I School Improvement for 2008-09 • 62 LEAs in District Improvement for 2008-09

  8. Results of AYP Growth Pilot2007-08 • Eleven (11) Schools Met AYP as a Result of the AYP Growth Model Pilot Approved by USED • Seven (7) of the 11 also Needed to Access Safe Harbor or the Confidence Interval to Meet AYP

  9. Cohort* Graduation Rate • 4-year Cohort Graduation Rate (Part of AYP Calculations in 2007-08 AYP Report) of 70.3% • 5-year Cohort Graduation Rate of 71.8% *Follows the Same Students from Grade 9 to 12
