  3. Children dress up in costumes in America and collect candy! • They ring a doorbell. When a person opens the door, they yell: “Trick or treat!”

  4. Here are some famous monsters that children often dress up as.

  5. Dracula lives at night. He drinks blood to survive (to live). Yesterday he _______ blood.

  6. Dracula…

  7. This is a drop of blood.

  8. Dracula has fangs.

  9. He is afraid of a cross.

  10. Dracula…

  11. You can kill him by hammering a wooden stake through his heart.

  12. He will die in the sunlight, as well. (What is the past tense of ‘die’?)

  13. Dracula died in the sunlight.

  14. As long as he gets blood every day, he will not die. He willbe very happy.

  15. How to kill a vampire (Dracula is a vampire):

  16. If a wolfman has bitten a person, the person will become a wolfman when the moon is full. (bite, bit, bitten)

  17. A wolfman is part human and part wolf.

  19. The man is becoming a wolfman. • But this only happens when the moon is full.

  20. You can only kill a wolfman with a silver bullet.

  21. Frankenstein was created from parts of many dead bodies. YUK! He was brought to life by Dr. Frankenstein.

  22. He can be killed like a normal human being.

  23. He is afraid of fire.

  24. Frankenstein became evil because people thought he was ugly and feared him. Nobody loved poor Frankenstein. 

  25. Good and Evil.

  26. He wanted a friend, but nobody liked him. He became evil.

  27. The mummy is hundreds of years old.

  28. The mummy wants revenge against people because he died too young.

  29. What does revenge mean? • If you hit me, I hit you. • If you yell at me, I yell at you. • If you hurt me, I hurt you. • If you are mean to me, I am mean to you.

  30. There are many ways to kill a mummy.

  31. Mummies are pretty strong for dead guys.

  32. Zombies are dead, but they are also hungry.

  33. To kill a zombie, aim for its head.

  34. Have a scary and happy Halloween!!!!
