2. Medusa Medusa has a body of a girl and her hair is made of snakes. The legend says that if you look into Medusa’s eyes you will turn to stone and die. Perseus splayed Medusa by looking at her reflection and cutting off her head.

3. Chimera The Chimera has a body of a lion, a tail of a snake, and a head of a goat on its spine. Bellerophon finally killed the Chimera with the help of his Pegasus, he used his bow and arrows to shoot the Chimera.

4. Griffin The Griffin has the head, wings, and legs of an eagle, and an hindquarters of a lion. It will attack other animals and tear up humans on sight. They are stronger than eight lions and 100 eagles. It also holds gold and emeralds, fiercely attacking anyone who tries to steal from its nest.

5. Minotaur The Minotaur has the head of a bull, and the body of a human. He lived in an underground maze. Every once in a while they put a human in there to sacrifice him. Finally the Minotaur died by Theseus. Theseus had a plan to hold put string at the entrance and hold it so he new were the entrance was.

6. Cyclops The Cyclops is a monster the size of five men and only has one eye in the center of his head. The first Cyclopes were three brothers named Steropes, Brontes, and Arges, sons of mother Earth. They were blacksmiths and they communicated by grunts and snorts. Polyphemus was the worst. He imprisoned Odysseus and his men and he ate the men whole. Odysseus finally killed him by stabbing him in the eye.

7. Fury They were also called the Daughters of the Night, but were actually the daughters of Uranus and Gaea. Another name for them is the Erinyes. 
Without mercy, the Furies would punish all crime including the breaking of rules considering all aspects of society. They would strike the offenders with madness and never stopped following criminals.

8. Centaur The centaur was a creature that was half man and half horse. The centaurs were fathered by Ixion or by Centaurs, who was Ixion's son. Followers of Dionysus, they were uncouth and savage, but some, such as Chiron, became friends and teachers of men.

9. Hydra The Hydra is a monster with nine heads and every time one is cut of it grows to back. The reason it is named Hydra is because in Greek hydra means water . The Hydra was finally slain by Hercules.

10. Nemean Lion The Nemean lion was a giant lion. It was the first of twelve labors of Hercules. The Oracle said Hercules must get rid of the Nemean lion by killing it.

11. Pegasus • The Pegasus was a winged horse. Korinthian hero, who rode him into battle against the fire-breathing Khimaira. Later, after the hero attempted to fly to heaven, the gods caused the horse to buck, throwing him back down to earth. Pegasos continued to wing its way to heaven where it took a place in the stables of Zeus.

12. Cerberus Cerberus is a giant three headed dog with a tail that is a snake. It guards the gate to the underworld so no living man can go in, and nobody can get out.

13. Sirens The Sirens had the heads of a women and the body of bird. They sang the song of death which is if anybody hears it they turn there ships to there island, and when they get there the Sirens eat the sailors.
