To which specific political needs/priorities does the strategy respond to? Emilia-Romagna region pursues the aim of internationalization of its territorial system, favoring relations among all the bodies of the territory, public, private, profit or non-profit, with similar bodies of partner Regions/States.
What is the structure of the strategy? Emilia-Romagna region establishes institutional relations with the authorities of the partner Region/State, to share common actions, in which the subjects of the two territories could be involved. Working groups are established with the local bodies, not only to plan together or to involve them in regional programs, but also to let start autonomous basic co-operations.
What are its key elements? i.e the concrete actions to be developed through the strategy For the European Area the main intervention streams are: Co-operation among local bodies, particularly on policies of welfare, training and local development; Co-operation among volunteering associations for social economy; Youth policies in the field of vocational training, of volunteering and of professional development. Obviously the three streams have many positive matching points.
