WORLD TRADE ORGANIZATION The WTO was “born” in January 1 1995, but the trading system has been in place since 1948. Headquarters: Geneva, Switzerland Global International organization that deals with the rules of trade between nations. The goal is to help producers of goods and services, exporters, and importers conduct their business.
