Fellow: The Fellowship is the highest award that this organization gives. A Fellow is regarded asamongstthe mostexperiencedandknowledgeable professionalsinthe construction industry. They have global recognition for their skills and attainments throughout their careers. Besides that,the post-nominal letters, FCIOB,are highly sought after. Entry to Fellowship is focused on satisfying a unique set of leadership competenciesandbehaviorsatastrategiclevel.Itreflectsthehighestlevelof professionalcompetence. ThisstatusisequivalenttoaMaster’sdegreelevel.TheapplicationsforFellowship are open to senior professionals who have more than 5 years of work experience in leading an organization, leading people, and contributing to industry, communities, or/andsociety. Apart from getting the benefits of Chartered Membership, this status also comes with additional rewards, including employer achievement recognition, promotion, career progression,highersalaries,andabroaderrangeofjobopportunities. After being retired, you will be able to apply for the Retired Grade. When accepted, you can use new designations: Ret FCIOB, which is for Fellows. Member (MCIOB): Chartered membership grade comes with many benefits that include using MCIOB as a post-nominal designation. You can also choose between the descriptor of Chartered BuilderandCharteredConstruction Manager.
