  2. Phonetics Phonetics is the study of physical properties of speech sounds which are used in language to convey meaning. Phonetics also deals with how different sounds are created and how those sounds change in different environments

  3. Articulatory Phonetics • Is the study of how human beings produce sound.

  6. Acoustic Phonetics • Focuses on the transmission of sounds through the air by studying the sound waves which are created during speech.
