VRCD Purpose • AFROTC North East Region Virtual Rated Career Day (VRCD) hosted via Defense Connect Online (DCO) • Primary Objective: Provide those applying for PSP this summer the rated perspective. With the proposed changes to PSP, this is an important opportunity to ensure our cadets can make an informed decision prior to them committing to a “Rated EA.” Many of our GMC have questions about training, deployments and the daily duties our rated officers. This career day will leverage an officer from each of the rated career fields. They will speak first about their general AFSC, then delve into the specifics of their platform if/as time allows. There will also be time for “Q and A.”
Scope of Audience • Venue: All GMC, POC, cadre, and NER staff are invited to this event, but there is a system limitation on how many log-ins are allowed per session. We highly recommend you connect to the meeting and use one computer and show the meeting on a projector for your detachment. This limits the technical risks. During the meeting you will be able to ask questions by typing into a chat container inside the DCO session. The discussion will be moderated from Det 630. Det 630 is generating full rules of engagement for everyone.
