  1. ImageVine Sermon SeriesInstructions Slide (delete before presenting) Sermon Series Instructions • Inserting the supplied jpeg backgrounds. - Click on the slide you wish to change the background for.- From the upper menus choose “Format” and then “Backgrounds”- Click on the down arrow and choose “Fill Effect”- On the upper tabs choose “Picture” then “Select Picture”- Browse to the folder (ImageVine\Sermon etc…) and choose a background, click “Insert” then “ok” On the next panel you would typically choose “Apply”, which only changes the current slides background “Apply to all” will make all the backgrounds in your presentation use the same background. Its typically used to set a default background for the entire presentation (example worship presentation)- For a graphical tutorial on how to insert backgrounds please see the tutorials section of ImageVine. • The text box sizes/locations will need to be resized and moved depending on the layout you choose • Its easiest to layout/edit your sermon in outline view. These instructions are based on outline view. • You can change the text on screen for each slide, or change the text in the left hand panel titled outline. When in outline mode you can minimize the slides text by double clicking on the slide number. • To use more than one of the slides and preserver the layout/formatting first highlight the slide in the outline view that you wish to use and choose copy from the edit menu. Paste this slide where you want it to appear in your presentation, then change the text on this new slide. By copy/pasting the slide in this manor you will keep the background, text formatting and the customized animation from that slide. By using the copy/paste method you will find it saves you time and keeps a consistent look through out your presentation. • There are a few additional notes written in the slide text wording that may be helpful. • For more information on using PowerPoint to create Sermon Outlines please see the tutorials section at www.imagevine.com
