  5. Lesson Materials: • Personal items to show what I do best. (I include my favorite things like a running shoe, knitting needles, books, games, puppets, pictures of my family, a cooking item, etc). • What I Do Best, by Allia Nolan • butcher paper and markers • What I Do Best handout

  6. Activities: • Activating Strategy • Share the items I’ve brought and why? • Teaching Strategies • Discussion of $, wants and needs, community helpers • Read the story • Brainstorm a web of ideas • Evaluation • What I Do Best handout
