  2. The Patriarchs: • We are blessed by looking into the lives of Isaac, Jacob and Joseph. • The focus in Hebrews is on the passing on the blessing and looking to the future.

  3. Hebrews 11:22 Page 1876 • “By faith Joseph, when his end was near, spoke about the exodus of the Israelites from Egypt and gave instructions about his bones.”

  4. Genesis 30:22-24 page 47 • “Then God remembered Rachel; he listened to her and opened her womb. She became pregnant and gave birth to a son and said, “God has taken away my disgrace.” She named him Joseph, and said, “May the Lord add to me another son.” • In Hebrew “taken away” is asaph and “add to” is yoseph.
