    Problem Identified: Disasters disrupt the economy and wealth generation of the areas impacted Disaster survivors are not actively engaged in the reconstruction processes and end up depending on foreign aid The truth is disaster survivors are resourceful and capable people able to fend for themselves and generate wealth if given opportunity
