  2. Think It! • The Magic Plane is a toy airplane that can fly in your house. It is made of light cardboard and cannot hurt kids if it hits into them. • The Magic Plane attaches to the roof of the house and flies along the entire length of the house into all of the rooms. • The power source is a motor that lasts forever!

Explore It! • In ancient Greece, Archytas invented a model airplane that was shaped like a bird, fueled by steam, and flew 219 yards. • During both World Wars, models of fighter aircraft were created as toys. • As airplane travel became more popular in the US, the airlines often had toy jets made of their carriers. • Today, there have been many remote control airplanes invented. • http://www.trade-a-plane.com/article/model_airplanes
