It’s valuable because of what it can help you do. • Knowledge isn’t powerful because of an institution. • It’s powerful because of what it does. • Academia can be a prison for knowledge as much as it can be a pedestal.
Why? Because we are the games writing experts and we have a stake in all of the institutions that practice, inform, value, and evaluate this games writing thing.
