How We Got Here Strategic Planning Process • Effort to update Migratory Bird Program 10-year strategy began in 2016 • Develop interim document for transition & plan for next 10 years • Highly participatory process • Major priorities & sub-elements finalized in June 2017; staff now identifying project-level tasks • THANK YOU to all partners!

  3. What’s Next? The Rest of 2017 • Work by program staff continues through September • Identifying teams to be responsible for tasks • Both ongoing & new tasks • Talking to our partners about the plan & its implications
