MDUSD API The district experienced an 11 point API gain. These gains were do to the collaborative efforts of our teachers, support staff members, parents, students and administrators.
Elementary • 25 of 32 elementary schools increased their API • Ayers, Cambridge, Fair Oaks, Highlands, Holbrook, Monte Gardens, Shore Acres, Silverwood, Standwood, Sun Terrace, Wren and Ygnacio Valley all had double digit increases • Cambridge, Fair Oaks, and Ygnacio Valley all broke 700 • Ayers broke 800 • Monte Gardens broke 900
Middle School • 7 of 10 middle schools had double digit increases in their API – El Dorado, Foothill, Glenbrook, Oak Grove, Pine Hollow, Pleasant Hill, Riverview • El Dorado broke 700 • Pleasant Hill broke 800 • Foothill reached 900
High School • Four of six high school increased their API • College Park and Mt. Diablo had double digit increases • College Park broke 800 • Horizons, Sunrise, and Crossroads all had double digit increases in their API
Room to Grow • Though we made strong growth we still have room to grow • We need to close the achievement gap of our lower socioeconomic, English Learner, African American, Hispanic/Latino, and students with special needs • Our District Goals and Objectives focus on ensuring that we are meeting the learning needs of every student
