  2. VALUES IN CULTURE Your values are the standards of behavior and ways of doing that you think are correct in the way you live and work.

  3. VALUES IN CULTURE Values Identification: Start by thinking of times when you were happiest. What were you doing? Why were you so happy? Remember times when you were proud of yourself. Why did you feel proud? Think about times when you felt really fulfilled and satisfied with what you were doing. What need or desire did you meet in these situations?

  4. VALUES IN CULTURE Table Exercise: Turn to a person at your table and express the value you believe/feel is most important and why? 3 minutes for first participant, 3 minutes for the second

  5. AMITA VALUES – God Honoring God Honoring: Living respectfully in all human relationships. Justice: Resources provided to all, especially the poor and vulnerable. Compassion: To minister to others in their struggles. Integrity: Authenticity and honesty in our words and actions. Dignity: Treating all persons with respect, equality and solidarity.
