SWOT Analysis • Strengths – San Antonio biomedical community, Austin high tech industry • Weaknesses – low chapter activity, difficulty member communication, members also in Austin • Opportunities – San Antonio biomedical community, Central Texas Section, IEEE • Threats – high member work loads and competing interests • Challenges (the usual, in no particular order) – • identifying activities of interest and value to members • contacting members • finding speakers for meetings • scheduling time and location for meetings
