PlotThe Sequence of Events • When Percy wakes up Grover gives him the bloody minotaur horn that had killed his mother • Percy finds a glass filled with a liquid that he describes as Apple juice, but as he tastes it he tastes the warm feeling of his mothers chocolate chip cookies • Percy Finds himself at Camp Half-Blood with Grover who tells him that his mother had passed away. • He realizes that Greek Myths are true, due to meeting strange creatures like Dionysus, a Pegasus, a Satyr, and a Centaur at camp half blood.

  3. Plot • When he’s at camp half-blood Chiron shows Percy around the camp. • Chiron shows Percy the cabins and he sees the difference in each cabin (Ares, Zeus, Hera). Chiron show Percy to the undetermined cabin which is where he is going to stay for now until he gets determined. • Annabeth explains to Percy why they know he’s a half blood. • Percy meets Clarisse (she’s the camp bully). She tries to bully him the bathroom where her and her friends are about to dunk his head in the toilet, and he soaks them in toilet water.

  9. Mythological Allusions continued • The Satyr- it’s a creature that is half man half goat. Grover was a satyr when he and Percy met. Now Percy knows after Grover saved his life from the minotaur.
