  1. Alexander Pichushkin The Rostov Ripper By Lizzie Crooks

  2. Scatterplot Between the years of 1992 and 2006, Sasha had 53 proven kills. The murders took place as follows: 1992: 1 1993-2000: 1 2001: 15 2002: 27 2003: 35 2004: 49 2005: 49 2006: 53 He claims to have killed 64 people, but only 53 of them have been proven, and three of the ‘unconfirmed’ victims managed to escape.

  3. Linear equation If Sasha had not been caught, he claims that he would have continued killing indefinitely. According to the line of best fit, how many people would he have killed by now? Equation of the line: f(x)= 3.8187772925452x-7611.9323143479 By plugging 2011 into the equation, f(2011)=3.81877729252(2011)-7611.0323143479 f(2011)=68.52882091 we find that if Alexander Pichushkin was not caught, he would have killed what can be assumed is either 68 or 69 people, because you can’t kill .52882091 of a person. Probably.

  4. Quadratic equation One of Alexander’s victims managed to escape death. After bludgeoning his victims, he often would throw them into the Rostov sewers to drown. This particular woman, however, gained consciousness fast enough to catch hold of a ladder, which she used to climb out of a manhole. Given that it takes approximately three minutes for a person to drown, what are the chances of surviving being thrown in the sewers? Equation: -(1/9)x^2+1 Roots: (-3,0) , (3,0) Y-intercept: 1

  5. Polynomial of higher degree Alex Pichushkin is third in a line of 4 Russian serial killers caught since 2000. What is the equation of the polynomial function that shows their killings in relation to each other?

  6. Equation: y=-1.319444444x^{3}+14.93055556x^{2}-35.25x+19 (2000, 19) (2003, 12) (2006, 60) (2008, 17) Roots: (.7774, 0),(2.23, 0),(8.3091243,0)

  7. Rational equation In Rostov there is a park where Alexander committed most of his murders. During his time in college, he had but one close friend. One day Alexander purposed that he and that friend should think of a plan to commit the perfect murder, just for fun. Their plan involved the nearby park, and because the park was rather busy, they had to choose a less populated bit of the park to hide the body. ((1/5)x^2+9)/(x+2)
