1. Setup Firewall for QuickBooks Desktop Point of Sale QuickBooks POS configure firewall automatically for you. Therefore the automatic configuration of firewall causes connectivity issues between server and client workstation. It happens because the firewall blocks the connectivity between server and client workstation. When your security setting and firewall block QuickBooks Desktop Point of Sale ports, the following processes can be interrupted: Electronic Funds Transfer - Intuit Merchant Services credit card processing.
