  2. ACROPOLIS The Acropolis is located on a flat-topped rock that rises 150 m above sea level in the city of Athens, with a surface area of about 3 hectares. . The Acropolis of Athens is an ancient citadel located on a high rocky outcrop above the city of Athens in which the “acient sacred” was bilding, and containing the remains of several ancient buildings of great architectural and historic significance, the most famous being the Parthenon.

  3. PARTHENON The Parthenon is a temple on the Athenian Acropolis, dedicated to the maiden goddess Athena. Its construction began in 447 BC. It considered the culmination of the development of the Doric order.

  4. CAPE SOUNION Cape Sounion is a promontory located at the southernmost tip of the Attica peninsula. There is a beautiful temple dedicated to Poseidon, the god of the sea. This temple was built by Pericle.

  5. THE LION GATE MYCENAE THE TOMB OF AGAMEMNON The Lion Gate was the main entrance of the Bronze Age citadel of Mycenae. The tomb of Agamemnon is an impressive tholos tomb.
