  2. Term of Office • The Treasurer shall serve a term of two years or in accordance with your local bylaws.

Responsibilities • The Treasurer shall collect and bank all dues and other monies received. • The treasurer shall forward State and National Dues monthly to FSNA (state only) and SNA (National). • The Treasurer shall pay all bills in a timely manner • The Treasurer shall submit a written financial report and read it to the membership at each Board Meeting and Association Meeting.

  4. How to Make a Budget • Start where you are. • Use what you have. • Do what you can. • Finish where you started.

  5. Budget Goals • What do you and your board want to accomplish this year? • Go to ANC • Send members to State Conference • Pay Dues for Members • Go to LAC • Charities

  6. How Do We Get There From Here? • Income • Ways and Means • Dues and Charges to Membership. • Interest on Bank held Funds. • Fund Raisers … Lincoln Pans, T-Shirts, 50-50 Raffles. • Craft and Bake Sales • Vendor Support This is income.

  7. Budget • Starting Balance $5000.00 • You will want to end the year with the same amount in your bank account as you started with. • Your goal should be to replenish your funds with those you spend through out the year. • You do not want to start the year with a negative balance.
