  4. BREAKING NEWS Tampa Bay awarded Super Bowl XLIII The NFL owners have voted for the city of Tampa to host Super Bowl XLIII in 2009, beating out finalists Atlanta, Houston and South Florida. The Bay area beat out strong competition from Atlanta, Miami and Houston to win the right to host Super Bowl XLIII, coming to Raymond James Stadium in 2009
