Setting The setting is at school, juvenile and at some island. Cole lives with his parents at their house but mainly at juvenile center because it seems he cant stay out of trouble.
Characters The main characters are Cole, Petter, Edwin, and Garvey. Cole is white tall and brave shows no fear. Petter a kid who told on Cole for stealing, and he is scared, and weak. Edwin is a juvenile guard. Garvey is too at first they are mean to Cole then they became friends toward the end of the story.
Plot Problem/Conflict Petter tells on Cole that he stole something. Then Cole decided to beat him up really bad. Then Cole goes to juvenile center.
PlotDescribe resolution When Cole is in juvenile Garvey tells him about this circle justice thing, so Cole decide to join circle justice. It helps him to learn his lesson and to do right.
Opinion It inspires me at some point of the story. It’s based on my life. it teaches you how to do right or wrong and to understand life.
About The Author Ben Mikaelsen wrote Tree Girl and Red Midnight. He got an award for the Touching Spirit Bear. this book does not have a movie. his books are inspiring.

Summary Cole Matthews has been fighting, stealing, and raising hell for years, so his punishment for beating Petter Driscal senseless is harsh. Given a choice between prison and circle justice, Cole chose circle justice. He will spend one year in complete isolation on a remote Alaskan island. In the first day of his banishment Cole is mauled by white a white mysterious bear and nearly dies. Now there is no one left to save Cole, but himself.
