StCA:Report We received 23 StCA applications: 4 applicants came from the United Kingdom; 3 applicants came from Germany, Spain, and USA; 2 applicants came from Australia and Canada; 1 applicant came from Austria, Italy, Japan, Slovenia, The Netherlands, and Vietnam. Thanks to all members of the SC for judging the applications and for giving good care and deliberation in the decision process. Thanks also to the President. The SC selected four students after a double-blind review of the submitted abstracts and summary papers from each applicant:

StCA:Report • Further SC actions for students: • - Students’ Gathering: Sunday, 9 July • To meet peers beforehand the conference. • Thanks to the LOC for organisation • - Students’ Day: Thursday, 13 July • To stimulate discussion on how to be a good researcher and how to shape a biostatistical career. • Three experienced speaker presentations, 10 oral student contributions, and a moderated round on open questions. • Thanks to the Students Day organising group.
