Presents Thy Way is in The Sanctuary Part 1 - (Introduction) Compiled and Illustrated from The Scriptures & The Spirit of Prophecy October 2015 (Updated 3/2016) From “http://www.thelightoftheword.org”
“Thy way, O God, [is] in the sanctuary: who [is so] great a God as [our] God? Thou [art] the God that doest wonders: thou hast declared thy strengthamong the people. Thou hast with [thine]arm redeemed thypeople, the sons of Jacob and Joseph. Selah. The waterssaw thee, O God, the waters saw thee; they were afraid: the depths also were troubled” (Psalms 77:13-16).
In this series of study on The Way revealed in The Sanctuary, it is the objective in this study, to address one of the most controversial topics within the Christian church to date. It is so controversial that many, who are cautious on what is heard, or read in this controversial topic, are ready to accept what is heard, or read only if it is in favor with their views on this topic. But if what is heard, or read is not in favor with their views, which is held by the majority, then they are ready to reject it without further study to see if these things that are heard, and read are so. The problem with rejecting what is heard or read, because it does not fit with what is viewed by the majority; John in his witness through The Scriptures said of those, who hold to the world’s view that,…
“…I stood upon the sand of the sea, and saw a beast rise up out of the sea, having seven heads and ten horns, and upon his horns ten crowns, and upon his heads the name of blasphemy. And the beast which I saw was like unto a leopard, and his feet were as [the feet] of a bear, and his mouth as the mouth of a lion: and the dragon gave him hispower, and his seat, and great authority. And I saw one of his heads as it were wounded to death; and his deadly wound was healed: and all the world wondered after the beast. And they worshippedthe dragonwhich gave power unto the beast: and they worshippedthe beast, saying, Who [is] like unto the beast? who is able to make war with him?” (Revelation 13:1-4)
Notice that John saw that, which should concern every one, who dwells upon the earth. For John said that he saw a beast having seven heads and ten horns, and upon his horns ten crowns, and upon his heads the name of blasphemy. Yet all the world wondered after the beast. And they worshipped the dragon which gave power unto the beast. But this is not what the redeemed of the earth will be doing, to wonder after, and worship the beast, because John said of the redeemed...
“…I looked, and, lo, a Lamb stood on the mount Sion, and with him an hundred forty [and] four thousand, having hisFather's name written in their foreheads. And I heard a voice from heaven, as the voice of many waters, and as the voice of a great thunder: and I heard the voice of harpers harping with their harps: And they sung as it were a new song before the throne, and before the four beasts, and the elders: and no man could learn that song but the hundred [and] forty [and] four thousand, which were redeemed from the earth” (Revelation 14:1-3).
“These are they which were not defiled with women; for they are virgins. These are they which followthe Lamb whithersoever hegoeth. These were redeemed from among men, [being] the firstfruits unto God and to the Lamb. And in their mouth was found no guile: for they are without fault before the throne of God” (Revelation 14:4, 5). But those, who have been defiled by the woman, who sits upon many waters, John said…
“And there came one of the seven angels which had the seven vials, and talked with me, saying unto me, Come hither; I will shew unto thee the judgment of the great whore that sitteth upon many waters: With whom the kings of the earth have committed fornication, and the inhabitants of the earth have been made drunk with thewine of her fornication. So he carried me away in the spirit into the wilderness: and I saw a woman sit upon a scarlet coloured beast, full of names of blasphemy, having seven heads and ten horns” (Revelation 17:1-3).
“And the woman was arrayed in purple and scarlet colour, and decked with gold and precious stones and pearls, having a golden cup in her hand full of abominations and filthiness of her fornication: And upon her forehead [was] a name written, MYSTERY, BABYLON THE GREAT, THE MOTHER OF HARLOTS AND ABOMINATIONS OF THE EARTH.” (Revelation 17:4, 5).
Notice that there is a difference between those, who wonder after the beast, and of those, who follow The Lamb whithersoever He goes. Those, who wonder after the beast, they wonder after a beast, which has the name of blasphemy written upon his heads. But those, who follow The Lamb whithersoever He goes, they have His Father's name written in their foreheads. And no one could learn that song, which they sung, as a new song, because they were not defiled by the false churches, which are represented by the impure woman that taught her wine of error about The Father's NAME, in the foreheads of the inhabitants of the earth. The focus of this study on The Sanctuary addresses and reveals the answer from The Word of GOD on this most controversial topic. For it has been revealed through David that, The Way of GOD is revealed in The Sanctuary. What has been difficult for many in understanding this controversial topic is in understanding what we are to look for, as we seek to comprehend this most controversial topic.
Notice that there is a question in the opening verses from Psalms on Who is so great a God as our God? In verse thirteen, the word “God” has been mentioned three times. But does the word “God” carry the same meaning in each case? The first and third mention of the word “God” written in the thirteenth verse of Psalm 77 is a Hebrew word defined at #0430 as 'elohiym {el-o-heem'}, which is stated to be a plural word, meaning more than one, that are as one. But this word does not tell us how much more than one there are, that are as one. The question one might ask is this: How much more than one does the meaning of the word “God” reveal? The answer to this question is revealed not in the meaning of the word Elohiym, which is plural, but in The Sanctuary where GOD’S Way is revealed, hence the reason for this study. The word “Elohiym” is defined by the words (God, god, judge, GOD, goddess, great, mighty angels, exceeding, God-ward + , godly) As it was stated above, the word “God” is mentioned three times in the thirteenth verse of Psalm 77. The second mention of the word “God” in Hebrew is defined at #0410 as 'el {ale},shortened from #0352; meaning- (God, god, power, mighty, goodly, great, idols, Immanuel, might, strong.) These words presents the thought of one, who is the–(god-like one, mighty one). Notice What has been revealed, to answer how many there are in The Godhead.
Thy way, O God, is in The Sanctuary: Thou has with Thine Armredeemed Thy people, the sons of Jacob and Joseph. Selah. (Exodus 15:11-18) The waters saw Thee, O God, the waters sawThee; they were afraid: The depths also were troubled. (Revelation 17:15: Isaiah 52:10; Exodus 20:18-21) -- Question -- Who is so great a God as our God? Thou are The God that does wonders: Thou has declared Thy Strength among the people. Notice that The GOD, Who is Great as our God, and does wonders, HE has declared HIS Strength among the people. HE has with HIS Holy Arm, redeemed HIS people. As Moses spoke to the people, who stood afar off in fear and was troubled in heart, Christ Jesus spoke to His disciples and said…
“Let not your heart be troubled: ye believe in God, believe also in me. In my Father's house are many mansions: if [it were] not [so], I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you. And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again, and receive you unto myself; that where Iam, [there] ye may be also. And whither I go ye know, and the way ye know. Thomas saith unto him, Lord, we know not whither thou goest; and how can we knowthe way? Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but byme. If ye had known me, ye should have known my Father also: and from henceforth ye know him, and have seen him” (John 14:1-7).
Notice What Jesus has revealed about The Father’s House--HIS Sanctuary, and about knowing HIM, or having knowledge of HIM in them. Jesus said… and receive you holy Holy Place Most Holy Place Let not your heart be troubled you believe also in Me. believe in GOD? for you If I go to preparea place I will come again, unto Myself that where I am, there you may be also. And where I go you know, and The Way you know. In My Father's House are many mansions
said unto Him, Most Holy Place holy Holy Place If Jesus is The Only Way to The Father, and the world believe not in Christ Jesus, then how can they believe in GOD, if they believe not in HIS Son? Thomas believe also in Me. believe in GOD? Lord, we know not where You go; and how can we know The Way? Jesus said comes unto The Father, but by Me. I am The Way, The Truth, and The Life: unto him, ye should have known My Father also: If ye had known Me, no man and from now on you know HIM, and have seen HIM. In making it clear on how The Father is seen, Jesus said…
“…He that believeth on me, believeth not on me, but on him that sent me. And he that seeth meseeth him that sent me. I am come a light into the world, that whosoever believeth on me should not abide in darkness. And if any man hear my words, and believe not, I judge him not: for I came not to judge the world, but to save the world. He that rejectethme, and receiveth notmy words, hath one that judgeth him: the word that I have spoken, the same shall judge him in the last day” (John 12:44-48).
“For I have not spoken of myself; but the Father which sent me, he gave me a commandment, what I should say, and what I should speak. And I know that hiscommandment is lifeeverlasting: whatsoever Ispeak therefore, even as the Father said unto me, so Ispeak.” (John 12:49, 50).
In The fullness of time, Jesus said to His disciples… but on HIM that Sent Me sees HIM that Sent Me Most Holy Place Holy Place holy He that believes not on Me, believes on Me, He that sees Me I am come a light into the world, should not abide in darkness. believes on Me that whosoever And if any man hear My Words, I judge and believe not, for I came not to him not: judge the world, but to save the world.
HIS commandment is Life Everlasting: And I know that Most Holy Place Holy Place holy He that rejects Me, and receives not My words, hath One that judges him: I have spoken, The Word that The Same shall judge him in the last day. For I have not spoken of Myself: but The Father WHICH sent Me, Me a commandment, what I should say, and what I should speak. HE gave Whatsoever I speak therefore, even as The Father said unto Me, so I speak. John testified of Christ Jesus, Who was sent by The Father, and he said of Him, Who sent him…
“No man hath seenGodat any time; the only begotten Son, which is in the bosom of the Father, he hath declared [him]” (John 1:18). In speaking to the Jews, who questioned Christ Witness of The Father and of Himself, Jesus said to them… “…I have greater witness than [that] of John: for the works which the Father hath given me to finish, the same works that I do, bear witness of me, that the Father hath sent me. And the Fatherhimself, which hath sent me, hath borne witness of me. Ye have neither heard his voice at any time, nor seen his shape” (John 5:36, 37).
As John said of Him… “He must increase, but I [must] decrease. He that cometh from above is above all: he that is of the earth is earthly, and speaketh of the earth: he that cometh from heaven is above all. And what he hath seen and heard, that he testifieth; and no man receiveth his testimony. He that hath received his testimony hath set to his seal that God is true. For he whom God hath sent speaketh the words ofGod: for God giveth not the Spirit by measure [unto him]. The Father loveth the Son, and hath given all things into his hand. He that believeth on the Son hath everlasting life: and he that believeth notthe Son shall not see life; but thewrath of God abideth on him” (John 3:31-36).
Notice What Jesus has revealed about His Father and of His Testimony about our seeing HIM by believing WHAT He has both seen and heard of HIM, WHO sent Him. He said… No man The Way The Truth The Life The Father comes to believes on HIM that sent He that believes on Me He that sees Me sees HIM that sent Most Holy Place holy Holy Place ______________________ I am ________________________ ____________________ but by Me _____________________ ______________________ Me _________________________ No man has seen _____________________ Me __________________________ ____________ at anytime ____________ GOD The only begotten Son, which is in the bosom of The Father declared He has HIM Could Christ Witness of GOD include the time of Moses? Notice What The LORD said by HIS Word to Moses. HE said…
“Thou shalt not bow down to their gods, nor serve them, nor do after their works: but thou shalt utterly overthrow them, and quite break down their images. And ye shall serve the LORD your God, and he shall bless thy bread, and thy water; and I will take sickness away from the midst of thee. There shall nothing cast their young, nor be barren, in thy land: the number of thy days I will fulfil” (Exodus 23:24-26).
“Behold, Isend an Angel before thee, to keep thee in the way, and to bring thee into the place which I have prepared. Beware of him, and obey his voice, provoke him not; for he will not pardon your transgressions: for my name [is] in him. But if thou shalt indeed obey his voice, and do all that I speak; then I will be an enemy unto thine enemies, and an adversary unto thine adversaries. For mine Angel shall go before thee, and bring thee in unto the Amorites, and the Hittites, and the Perizzites, and the Canaanites, the Hivites, and the Jebusites: and I will cut them off” (Exodus 23:20-23).
Notice that The LORD spoke to Moses, and revealed to him that HE sent an Angel, to keep thee in The Way, to bring thee into The Place, Which HE has prepared. Before we proceed further in looking at What The LORD has revealed to Moses about This Angel; we need to comprehend the verse of Scripture, which stated that, “No man hath seen God at any time...”, and the other verse, which stated of the Jews that they “...neither heard his voice atany time, nor seen his shape...” Yet, The LORD God was speaking to Moses. So how do we reconcile this testimony that no man has seen GOD, or heard The VOICE of GOD--The Father at anytime? In John’s testimony of Christ Jesus, he made it clear that, “He Whom God hath sent speaks The Words of God…” Now notice What was said about The Angel, Who was sent by GOD.
He--The Angel was sent to keep the children of Israel in The Way, to bring them into The Place, Which HE--The LORD has prepared. Notice the connection of What Jesus said about going to prepare a Place for those, who believe also on Him, and about Him being The Way, The Truth, and The Life to those, who come to The Father by Him. The LORD spoke to Moses about The Angel, and said, Beware of Him, and obey HIS Voice, provoke Him not; for He will not pardon your transgressions: for MY NAME is in Him. The LORD also revealed to Moses that, “…if thou shalt indeed obey his voice, and do all that I speak; then I will be an enemy unto thine enemies, and an adversary unto thine adversaries. For mine Angel shall go before thee, and bring thee in unto the Amorites, and the Hittites, and the Perizzites, and the Canaanites, the Hivites, and the Jebusites: and I will cut them off.
The LORD also revealed to Moses, to speak to the children of Israel, and said, “Thou shalt not bow down to their gods, nor serve them, nor do after their works: but thou shalt utterly overthrow them, and quite break down their images. And ye shall serve The LORD your God, and he shall bless thy bread, and thy water; and I will take sickness away from the midst of thee. There shall nothing cast their young, nor be barren, in thy land: the number of thy days I will fulfil.” To confirm again that it was The Angel of The LORD, Who spoke The Words of The LORD, WHO spoke by His Voice to Moses, it is revealed that after speaking The Covenant Word on Mount Sinai, The LORD spoke to Moses, to speak to the children of Israel, and it is written that…
“…all the people saw the thunderings, and the lightnings, and the noise of the trumpet, and the mountain smoking: and when the people saw [it], they removed, and stood afar off. And they said unto Moses, Speak thou with us, and we will hear: but let not God speak with us, lest we die. And Moses said unto the people, Fear not: for Godis come to prove you, and that his fear may be before your faces, that ye sin not. And the people stood afar off, and Moses drew near unto the thick darkness where God [was]. And the LORD said unto Moses, Thus thou shalt say unto the children of Israel, Ye have seen that I have talked with you from heaven” (Exodus 20:18-22).
Notice that The LORD was in heaven when HE spoke HIS Covenant Word to them. For HE spoke to them by HIS Angel in Whom is HIS NAME. In other words, HIS Angel spoke in HIS NAME on HIS behalf to them. Who then is This Angel in Whom is GOD’S NAME? The word “Angel” means a messenger, an ambassador or a representative. It is written in The Scriptures of The Word of The LORD through David, who sang a song of The LORD God, and said…
“Bless the LORD, O my soul. O LORD my God, thou art very great; thou art clothed withhonour and majesty. Whocoverest [thyself] withlight as [with] a garment: who stretchest out the heavens like a curtain: Who layeth the beams of his chambers in the waters: who maketh the clouds his chariot: who walketh upon the wings of the wind: Who maketh hisangelsspirits; hisministers a flaming fire” (Psalms 104:1-4).
Notice that The LORD our God, is very great. HE is clothed with Honor and Majesty, which means that HIS Covering, or Clothing is of Honor and Majesty. HE has Covered HIMSELF with Light as with a garment. HE has stretched out the heavens like a curtain, and has laid the beams of HIS chambers, or of HIS holy rooms in the waters. HE makes the clouds HIS chariot. HE also walks upon the wings of The Wind, Which is the same word used for Spirit. And speaking of HIS angels, notice that The LORD God makes “…his angelsspirits; his ministers a flaming fire.” And if The LORD God makes His angels spirits, this means that the angels are created beings, who are dependant upon HIM The Creator for their gift of life, to fulfill their number of day, which comes not from their own power, but from GOD, WHO gives to them HIS Gift of Life, to live by HIS Word of Life in them. From this verse of Scripture, which these thoughts of The Greatness of The LORD God is revealed; according to The written Word of The Creator, it is revealed that…
“In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. The same was in the beginning withGod. All things were made by him; and without him was not any thing made that was made. In him was life; and the life was the light of men. And the light shineth in darkness; and the darkness comprehended it not” (John 1:1-5). By GOD making all things by, and with HIS Word, it means that GOD did nothing without including and working HIS Will by HIS Son, including speaking by Him to man. For it is written that….
“The Sovereign of the universe was not alone in His work of beneficence. He had an associate--a co-workerwho could appreciate His purposes, and could share Hisjoy in giving happiness to created beings. "In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Wordwas God. The same was in the beginning with God." John 1:1, 2. Christ, the Word, the only begotten of God, was one withthe eternal Father--one in nature, in character, in purpose--the onlybeing that could enter into all the counsels and purposes of God.
"His name shall be calledWonderful, Counselor, The mighty God, The everlasting Father, The Prince of Peace." Isaiah 9:6. His "goings forth have been from of old, from everlasting." Micah 5:2. And the Son of Goddeclares concerning Himself: "The Lord possessed Me in the beginning of His way, beforeHis works of old. I was set up from everlasting. . . . When He appointed the foundations of the earth: then I was by Him, as one brought up with Him: and I was daily Hisdelight, rejoicing always before Him." Proverbs 8:22-30. (Patriarch and Prophets, pg 34, par 1)
The Same was in the beginning with GOD. Most Holy Place Holy Place holy Notice What has been revealed about The Way of The LORD In the beginning was The Word and The Word was with GOD, and the Word was God. All things were made. and without Him by HIM; was not any thing made that was made. In Him was Life; and The Life was The Light in darkness; and the darkness com-prehended of men. And The Light shineth It not.
Notice that The LORD made all things by HIS Word, Who was with HIM in the creation of all thing. For without Him there was nothing made that was made, because He was included in the making of every thing, including the making of “…his angelsspirits; his ministers a flaming fire.” And if The LORD God, or The Father and The Son made His angels spirits, then this means that the angels are created beings, and they are dependant upon their Creator for The Gift of Life, because The Word of GOD, Who is The Son of GOD, He is The Light and Life of all created beings, who were created by Him. And if we believe in GOD--The Father, WHO created all things, then we will also believe in The Son of GOD through Whom The Father created all things. And the Hebrew word for God defined as 'elohiym, it is a plural word that mean more than one, Who works together as one in all things, thus the words in the phrase “LORD God” is written in The Old Testament 230 times in 226 verses. According to The written Word of The Scriptures, it is revealed of Him--The Word,…
“Who is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn of every creature. For by him were all things created, that are in heaven, and that are in earth, visible and invisible, whether [they be] thrones, or dominions, or principalities, or powers: all things were created by him, and for him: And he is before all things, and by himall things consist" (Colossians 1:15-17).
Most Holy Place Holy Place holy Speaking about The Word of The LORD, Paul wrote of Him… Who is The Image of The INVISIBLE GOD, every creature. The Firstborn of were all things created, For by Him that are in heaven, and that are in earth, visible and invisible, all things were created by Him, whether [they be] thrones, or dominions, or principalities, or powers: and for Him: all things, And He is before all things consist. and by Him
“Being made so much better than the angels, as he hath by inheritanceobtained a more excellent name than they. For unto which of the angels said he at any time, Thou art mySon, this day have I begotten thee? And again, I will be to him a Father, and he shall be to me a Son?” (Hebrews 1:4, 5)
Most Holy Place Holy Place holy Paul also wrote of The Word of The LORD, and said of Him, Who… than the angels, Being made so much better as He hath by inheritanceobtained a more Excellent Name than they. said HE at any time, For unto which of the angels Thou art MY Son, this day have I begotten Thee? And again, I will be to Him a Father, and He shall be to ME a Son.
Notice that The LORD did reveal to Moses that HE was in heaven when HE spoke to him by HIS Angel in Whom is HIS NAME. We saw through David and Paul’s witness that The LORD created all things by HIS Word, Who made His angels spirits, and His ministers a flaming fire. We also saw that Christ--The Son of GOD was made much better than the angels, (in the sense that) He had by inheritance obtained a More Excellent Name than they. For the question was asked of the angels; …unto which of the angels said HE at any time, Thou art MY Son, this day have I begotten Thee? The answer to the question, to which of angels did GOD say at any time, Thou art MY Son, this day have I begotten Thee? The answer of which angel did GOD reveal to be HIS Son by inheritance is revealed when it was said…
“But unto the Son [he saith], Thy throne, O God, [is] for ever and ever: a sceptre of righteousness [is] the sceptre of thy kingdom. Thou hast loved righteousness, and hated iniquity; therefore God, [even] thy God, hath anointedthee with the oil of gladnessabovethy fellows” (Hebrews 1:8, 9). And because The Father had anointed HIS Son with The OIL of GLADNESS above His fellow angels, The Son did declare that… “The LORD possessed me in the beginning of his way, before his works of old. I was set up from everlasting…” “...and I was daily [his] delight, rejoicing always before him” (Proverbs 8:22, 23, 30).
For Christ--The Son of GOD was made much better than His fellow angels, by His inheritance of a More Excellent Name than they. For He is The Son of GOD, Who was with GOD before all things were made; and He has inherited The Father’s NAME to be God like GOD. It was because of the inheritance of The Son of GOD, Who received a more Excellent Name than the other angels that The Scriptures revealed that…
“…there was war in heaven: Michael and his angels fought against the dragon; and the dragon fought and his angels, And prevailed not; neither was their place found any more in heaven. And the great dragon was cast out, that old serpent, called the Devil, and Satan, whichdeceiveththe whole world: he was cast out into the earth, and his angels were cast out with him” (Revelation 12:7-9).
The Scriptures makes it clear that there was war in heaven: Michael and His angels fought against the dragon; and the dragon fought and his angels, and prevailed not; neither was their place found any more in heaven. The Angel Michael, Who with His angels fought against the dragon and his angels; that name “Michael” has hidden within the name the meaning of The Name and The Identity of His Person. For the Hebrew meaning of the word “Michael” at #04317 Miyka'el {me-kaw-ale'} is ("who is like God“) The Greek meaning of the same word “Michael” at #3413 Michael {mikh-ah-ale'} is ("who is like God“) The Name Michael reveals The Angel in Whom The Father’s NAME is revealed. For He is like GOD, because He is God, and was begotten of HIM from everlasting. It is written Him…
“…Michael the archangel, when contending with the devilhe disputed about the body of Moses, durst not bring against him a railing accusation, but said, The Lord rebuke thee” (Jude 1:9).
It was This Angel, Whose Name--Michael means “One, Who is like GOD”; He and His angels fought against the dragon, and there was no place found any more in heaven for the devil and his angels, because they rebelled against GOD in rejecting The Words of HIS Son, Who speaks The Will of GOD. When GOD spoke by HIS Angel to Moses and to the children of Israel, HE in heaven said to them by HIS Son, saying, “Behold, I send an Angel before thee, to keep thee in The Way, and to bring thee into the place which I have prepared. Beware of Him, and obey His Voice, provoke Him not; for He will not pardon your transgressions: for MY NAME [is] in Him. But if thou shalt indeed obey His Voice, and do all that I speak; then I will be an Enemy unto thine enemies, and an Adversary unto thine adversaries” (Exodus 23:20-22). By not obeying The Voice of Michael, Who is like GOD, Lucifer became an enemy of both The Father and The Son, and there was no place found any more in heaven for him and his angels.
The Way of The Great GOD is revealed in The Sanctuary. For HE, WHO does wonders, HE has declared HIS Strength by HIS Angel, Who is like GOD among the people of Israel. For HE--The LORD has with HIS Right Arm in Whom is HIS NAME, He has redeemed HIS people. As the people, whom GOD has created by HIS Angel, Who is like GOD; are we following The Will of HIM, WHO speaks by HIS Word, Who is The Way, The Truth, The Life and The Light of men, who live by Him? Are we following Him, Who seeks to bring us into the place, which HE--The Father by HIS Word has prepared for those, who obey Him? Or are we following the adversary, who found no place for him in heaven, and has deceived the whole world, to cause men to loose The Way of Life in GOD. It is to answer these questions and more in the following parts to this series on “Thy Way is in The Sanctuary”. End of Part 1
