  5. Challenges for RC Faculty • 4/4 teaching load without TAs • Frequent overloads • Multiple preps • Limited funding • Limited physical plant • Limited research/scholarship environment

  6. Challenges from Columbia • Increased pressure on Columbia faculty for funding • Lack of knowledge of Regional Campuses • New RPS review processes and category requirements

  7. Recommendations Overview • Provide Regional Campuses RPS funding • Support development of research and scholarship environment • Improve communication among USC campuses • Protect new faculty and foster their scholarship
