This very rare old coin of India issued by Magadha Janapada bore the denomination Vimshatika and was struck on 5.5 grams of Silver using the punch-marked technique to depict a six-armed symbol; a sun symbol and two abstract symbols. • Old coins of India issued by ancient empires like Gupta, Satavahana, Western Khsatrapas etc. had their own unique identity.

  3. These rare historical coins were issued by Kalachuri of Ratnapura during the regime of PrithiviDeva I in 1079 AD. The obverse of these beautiful gold coins of ancient India featured a Gaja-shradula which is a tiger mounted on an elephant within a dotted border. • Indian old coins issued by ancient and early medieval kingdoms like Hindu Shahi, Narmada Valley, Deccan, Central India etc. also reveal a lot about our rich history.
