Database Analysis by Denials Secretariat • By mode of transport / denied or delayed / By continent / By reason (carrier, Port authority and Regulatory issues) • Without any confidential information • Defines trends and suggests recommendations • Database: not as disposal of reports, but as source of evidences (of difficulties) • Denials Secretariat is playing a major role in promoting global actions • Very partial photography of denials • Few consignors reported • Few sectors of transport reported
Conclusion • Need for industry to get more involved No REPORT = No DENIAL • (Facilitate the) Solving of instances of denial/delay of shipment = Harmonized application of Regulations • Need for MS to get more involved (NFP nomination, creating National Network) • Panel of instruments already availableTo be extended to webpage and new communication tools. • Central role of Denials Secretariat to maintain the database and to solve the instances at global level
