  15. What are we doing? • For Continuous Improvement • Basic Skills Instruction has been re-designed for the 2014-15 school year • Utilizing Journeys, Envisions, and Big Ideas programs • More Teacher to Student instruction versus computer programming • MAP testing allows consistency assessment from year to year as state moves to PARCC • All teachers received their students’ NJASK and MAP scores at the beginning of the school year

PARCC – Coming in the Spring! • Replacing the NJASK for ELA and Math starting this spring • Computer-based • Two administrations – One Score • Performance Based Assessment (PBA): 3/2 – 3/27/15 • End of Year Assessment (EOY): 4/27 – 5/22/15 • Aligned with the Common Core Standards • Increase in rigor and relevance • NJASK for 4th & 8th Grade Science – May 27, 2015
