CR120 main benefits The complete solution Fabricators Completesolution in 1 system Fast & easy to fabricate 2nd generation, optimized qualitysystem End-user Energy solutions Transparency, Span up to 5meters Comfort solutions with goodinsulation and ventilation
CR120: Complete solution Fabricators Extended range of rafters • Standard rafter (All TYPES) • 1 profile that covers Ix-values up to 275 cm4 with possibility to integrate 5 different types of steel reinforcement profiles. • Small rafter (TYPE 3-5-6) • Small rafter profiles for small span, for smaller material price. • Big span rafter (TYPE 1 and 5) NEW • rafter of 120mm in height (Ix = ±190cm4). Max Ix (with steel; 100x40x5) = 640cm4 • Big span Rafter (TYPE 5) NEW • Rafter of 150mm for span up to 5 meters. • Weights up to 75 kg/m² snow load and 40 kg/m² glass load. Max Ix (with steel; 120x40x3) = 1230cm4
CR120: Complete solution Fabricators Extended range of corner profiles Adjustable corner profile NEW To offer a wider range of possibilities, we changed from fix to adjustable-corner profiles. The metal sheet can be adjusted to the angle needed. 3 different sheets will cover all angles.
CR120: Complete solution Fabricators Extended range of end caps • Extra face caps NEW • Extra face caps are developed to cover a wide range of applications: • For double raising profiles, face cap for ridge rafters and for limited roof slopes (5°)
CR120: Complete solution Fabricators Solution for skylights on flat roof • Skylights on flat roofs (to be expected begin July) • Specific solution to construct skylights on flat roofs with window-profiles. This solution is integrated in all 3 catalogues
CR120: Complete solution Fabricators Cover: software solution • Prepare commercial presentations for the customer • Commercial presentation with digital photo • Calculate different reports: price with/without loss and fixed loss • Insert different panels and glazing in to the program • Printouts of technical reports can be obtained: manufacturing list, cutting list, section and assembly plan
CR120: Easy to fabricate and install Fabricators Solution for wall connection profiles Wall Profile • Adjustable connectors NEW • For easy installation and firm connection of the wall profile with angles coplanar to the wall, the profile can be pre-mounted with an adjustable connection piece. • Sealing tape NEW • A new finishing profile was developed at the wall section for more easy mounting of the sealing tape. Connection piece Profile Sealing tape
CR120: Easy to fabricate Fabricators T-connections • Pre-mounted • By cutting the profiles on the work floor and pre-mounting the T-connections, fabrication time is saved. • Optimised New • To make mounting of rafters easy in complex constructions (TYPE 5), a new T-connection piece has been developed. • Adjustable • The T-connections are adjustable horizontally and vertically. This way the rafters can be positioned correctly even after they are mounted
CR120: Easy to fabricate Fabricators Wall connection profile • Insulated wall connection profile NEW • The profile used to be in 2 parts, this means that the fabricator has to position these 2 parts. • Both parts in the new profile are connected with an insulator. This way different heights and good insulation are combined with faster positioning of the wall profiles Wall Profile Insulator Wall Profile
CR120: Optimised quality system Fabricators Water tightness • Gutter connection pieces NEW • To optimise water tightness of the gutter section, more precisely at the connection glass support and face cap, the new finishing profiles have a detail for insertion of a co-extruded gasket. Finishing profile with gasket
CR120: Optimised quality system Fabricators Stronger T-brackets • Stronger T-brackets NEW • Reinforced T-bracket for transom • Due to limited strength of T-bracket for transom we designed a bracket adding 25% of wall thickness (=+25% strength). • This results in stronger connections for bigger spans and higher glass weight.
CR120: Energy solution End-user Comfort trough insulation • Synthetic profile in rafter: • Overhanging synthetic insulation profile prevents condensation on rafters and gutter profile. • High-insulating variant: • For better insulation, specific gaskets are integrated in the profiles. Insulation level of rafter is 1.1 W/m²k HI-Gasket Standard High insulating
CR120: Aesthetics solution End-user Design variants (1/3) Three designs of conservatories have been retained, i.e. the simple, yet elegant Functional, the Orangery and the romantic building styles of the Renaissance series. Designs are visible in rafters and gutters. Renaissance Functional Orangery
CR120: Aesthetics solution End-user New adjustments (2/3) Cover plate • Flat cover plates: NEW • For maximal visible surface of glass and minimal visibility of the rafters from the outside, extra slim cover plates are available.
CR120: Aesthetics solution End-user Ornaments (3/3) • Ornaments: • To give the conservatory your personal touch, style elements can be integrated in the system.
CR120: Comfort solution End-user Integration of ventilation and light spotlights • Ventilation: • In the roof a manually or motorized opening attic window can be installed to regulate fresh air and temperature. • The CR120 system is also compatible with forced ventilation solutions in the roof. • Spotlights: NEW • On the inside of the rafter, a profile can be clipped on. This profile has enough space to integrate spotlights in the rafter
CR120 Catalogues New concept of catalogues • Because there are so many possibilities in CR120, we decided to split out the catalogues based on building methods and complexity. • With the decision matrix in the general catalogue, we can guide the fabricator to the type of conservatory that fits best their needs.
