Demographics • In fall 2011, new, grant-eligible, full-time (FT) entrants into first year of Carleton undergraduate degree programs came from the following regions : • Ottawa & Eastern Ontario 51% (41% Ottawa, 10% neighbouring counties) • Greater Toronto Area 23% • Other Ontario 16% • Other Canada 7% • Outside Canada (domestic fee) 3% • International students represented 10% of FT, first-year entrants in fall 2011

Culture Works Private company delivers non-credit ESL Ten-year history with University of Western Ontario, Brescia University College, King’s University College and, more recently, UOIT Rent space on campus Student home stay program Condition of acceptance is IELTS Treat them as an agent Steady state 140 students per year
