Whatistheplus-energyhouse ? • An energy-plus-house produces more energy from renewable energy sources, over the course of a year, than it imports from external sources. This is achieved by using a combination of microgeneration technology and low-energy building techniques, such as: passive solar building design, insulation and careful site selection and placement. A reduction of modern conveniences can also contribute to energy savings, however many plus-energy houses are almost indistinguishable from a traditional home, preferring instead the use of highly energy-efficient appliances, fixtures, etc., throughout the house.
Zeroenergyhouse • A zero-energy buildingis a popular term to describe a building with zero net energy consumption and zero carbon emissions annually. Zero energy buildings can be independent from the energy grid supply – usuallythisis a combination of energy producing technologies like Solar and Wind.
Lowenergyhouse • A low-energy house is the type of house that from the design, technologies and building constructions uses less energy, from natural sources, than a traditional or average contemporary house
INPUT DATA • Conditions of climate • Building materials • Isolating materials • Redeemable sources
1)ConditionsofClimate Slovakia is situated in the northern temperate zone. The geographical positionis in central Europe, flowing from the west wind and altitude are the key factors that influence the weather and climate in Slovakia. The variety of terrain in Slovakia is the warmer weather in the lowlands than in upland areas.in Slovakia there are the warmest areas Danubian Lowland and Eastern plane. The average annual temperature is 10 ° C. With increasing altitude falls the temperature change and rainfall are added. The coldest conditions are on the tops of mountains, where the average annual temperature is -7 ° C, the temperature in summer is -4 ° C and in winter it is -10 ° C.
During the year, the weather changes. It also changes the amount of the heat and length of days and nights. The weather is changeable in Slovakia, because the alternating influence of dry continental air and moist ocean air. The best conditions for building plus-energy houses are in tropical countries. The northerh countries could be examples for Slovakia because of similar climate conditions . From the viewpoint of solar energy trought solar panels is not much diffrence between the regions in Slovakia . The highest amount of the solar radiation during the year is detected in the southern part of Slovakia .
Climateconditions in Presov • Latitude :48°59′47.22″ N • Longitude :21°14′19.39″ E • Altitude : 296 m. n. m • Solar radiation : 1225 - 1275 kWh/m2 year • Avarage temperature : 8 – 11 ° C
Avaragetemeprature in Slovakia • Avarage temeprature since 1951-2010
So thefinalconclusions are... • In Slovakia according to the climate, weather and geographic conditions, plus energy house cannot be built because the only source of energy can be used the sun. Although near our city there are geothermal resources , everything is in the process of geological survey and investigation. Therefore,it could be possible resource of alternative energy.
