  3. First Impressions • 30 Seconds • Something to keep in mind • “The interviewer already knows you’re capable of doing the job. You need to convince them that you WILL do the job.”

  4. More about that first impression • Be Confident – Not arrogant • Be armed with knowledge • Be GENUINELY friendly to EVERYBODY • Share credit and accept blame • Remember: Everybody has to start somewhere

  5. How To Make a Good First Impression • Hygiene • Wear Comfortable Clothes • Turn off your phone!!! • Smile • Allow the Interviewer to Set the Tone • Try not to talk to fast

  10. Show Genuine Interest in the Position • “Is this candidate likely to accept the position if it is offered?” • Demonstrate that you have researched organization or industry. • Ask questions about the job, the organization, the services, and products. Show interest in job responsibilities.
